Pasco county is located in the U.S. state of Florida. Situated on the western side of the Florida Peninsula, Pasco County's western border is created by the Gulf of Mexico. Adjacent counties include Hernando County, Sumter County, Polk County, Hillsborough County and Pinellas County. About 15% of the 867 square miles of Pasco County is water.
