Bay County is located in the western portion of the state of Florida. As of 2010, the population was 168,852 residents. Bay County is considered part of the Panama City-Lynn Haven-Panama City Beach Metro Area. Pamana City is the largest city and the county seat of Bay County. Other cities within Bay County include Callaway, Lynn Haven, Mexico Beach, Parker and Springfield. The 758 square miles of land is bordered by Washington County, Jackson County, Calhoun County, Gulf County and Walton County as well as the Gulf of Mexico to the south.
